Detroit is the music capital of the world, a lush land of music being made on every block and corner, and being sought after by collectors all over the globe.

Our team of music lovers, world travelers, event managers, and experts came together to solve 2 major problems. Like a broken record, heard round the world and throughout Detroit's venues and studios:

-
"How do I, as an independent music producer, navigate these systems built for major labels? I spend my time in the studio and on the road, I don't have time to do all of this added paperwork that the majors used to handle for the bands."

-
"I know getting my music synched with tv and film is where the big money is, but we don't have those connections in Detroit. We don't have anyone out there representing us to those directors. Detroit car commercials and movies about this city use songs made from folks who don't live here. That aint right"

Repeatedly hearing sentiments like this for over 15 years whilst working in Detroit's music industry, Jodie Svagr, owner of SVAGR Events & Artist Services, LLC, spent 2 years on research and development and connecting the dots.
Out of these tests, trials and consulting with an international network of experts, DETROIT Publishing Sync was born.

We aim to further increase the sustainability and longevity of Detroit's musicians.
10% of all profits will be placed into a fund for musicians that are in need of a hand-up.
This fund will be distributed in 4-equal parts quarterly:
-
25% Allocated for Musicians Mini-Grants to purchase equipment.
-
*25% Allocated for musicians needing help with unexpected medical expenses or financial hardship.
-
*25% Allocated for musicians applying funds to working with a charitable cause.
-
